ICI at the Urban Transport conference in Rome
The ICI will be represented at the Urban Transport conference in Rome from the 5th to 7th September with the paper “Do policy measures in fact promote electric mobility? A study across 20 countries” written by Theo Lieven and Nele Rietmann. Based on secondary data for the year 2016 the authors describe a strong interaction effect of governmental financial incentives with the existence of a charging infrastructure. As the number of charging stations is accumulative, monetary incentives can be gradually reduced over time. The article will also be published in the International Journal of Transport Development and Integration.

The most innovative companies 2017: Ranking from a management perspective
The Center for Innovation of the University of St.Gallen (CFI-HSG), htp St.Gallen, Scholz & Friends Switzerland and the Dual University of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) have a ranking exclusively for Swiss companies for the third time with regard to the perception of their innovative power. The aim was to reveal, firstly, which Swiss companies are most innovative. Secondly, they wanted to find out which categories, i.e. products, customer experience, sustainability, etc., were perceived as innovative. Third, they wanted to derive recommendations for communicating innovation. The ranking shall contribute to bringing the perceived innovative power as an important factor for the company success to the fore.
